Disclaimer and customer responsibilities.
Please review this information before requesting service. It explains how estimates, access, payments, item condition, and delivery completion are handled.
Last updated: September 15, 2026
1. Estimates and confirmed prices
Online quotes are good-faith estimates based on the information entered by the customer. The estimate may change if the route, distance, item count, dimensions, weight, stairs, parking, access, waiting time, assembly needs, or required equipment differs from what was submitted. MobeLift reviews the request and provides a confirmed price before requesting payment.
2. Service acceptance and scheduling
Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance, availability, or an exact arrival time. Service is confirmed only after MobeLift approves the request. Weather, traffic, store delays, building restrictions, safety conditions, and events outside reasonable control may affect arrival or completion time.
3. Accurate item and access information
The customer must provide accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, item quantities, approximate dimensions and weight, stair flights, elevator availability, parking restrictions, gate or building access, and special handling needs. MobeLift may pause, reprice, or decline work that cannot be performed safely or reasonably with the scheduled crew and vehicle.
4. Customer authority and item readiness
The customer represents that they own the items or are authorized to arrange their pickup and delivery. Items should be emptied, secured, and ready for transport unless packing, assembly, or disassembly was specifically approved. The customer is responsible for store release requirements, receipts, access codes, and ensuring an authorized person is available when needed.
5. Items we may not transport
Unless expressly agreed in writing and legally permitted, MobeLift does not transport hazardous materials, illegal goods, firearms or ammunition, explosives, flammable fuels, open chemicals, controlled substances, live animals, people, cash, negotiable instruments, or irreplaceable valuables. MobeLift may refuse any leaking, infested, unsafe, improperly packaged, or undisclosed item.
6. Fragile and high-value items
Fragile, unusually valuable, sentimental, antique, electronic, glass, artwork, musical, or stone items must be disclosed before approval and appropriately protected. Acceptance for transport does not create a guarantee against every scratch, internal malfunction, pre-existing defect, or damage caused by inadequate packaging. Nothing here removes any responsibility or consumer right that cannot legally be limited.
7. Pickup, delivery, and proof photos
MobeLift may photograph items, pickup conditions, delivery placement, or visible damage to document the service. Drivers may upload proof-of-delivery photos and notes. These records are used for operations, customer support, payment disputes, and claim review; they are not intended for advertising without separate permission.
8. Inspection and damage reporting
Customers should inspect items promptly at delivery and report visible loss or damage as soon as reasonably possible, with photographs and the booking reference. Preserve the item and packaging while a report is reviewed. Reporting a concern does not automatically establish fault, and MobeLift will evaluate the circumstances and applicable law.
9. Payments, cancellations, and third parties
Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. Their security and service terms also apply. Cancellation, rescheduling, waiting-time, parking, toll, disposal, or return-trip charges may apply when disclosed and agreed for the booking. A customer will not be marked paid solely because a browser returns from checkout; payment is verified with the processor.
10. Regulated household moves
Certain transportation of used household goods in California may be regulated by the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services and may require a permitted household mover, written documents, and specific consumer disclosures. When those laws apply, they control over this general page. Customers can review official mover information, license status, and complaint resources at the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services.
11. No waiver of legal rights
This page provides general service information and is not legal advice. It does not waive non-waivable rights, remedies, warranties, duties, or protections under applicable law. Any final service agreement, written estimate, receipt, insurance or valuation disclosure, and applicable law will control if inconsistent with this page.
